I was a 12 year old kid at the time, wanted to listen to it in the worst way (20 Mc/s) and the only receiver in the house was a BC-348 that just went up to 18 Mc/s. I started to build a 15 meter converter, but Sputnik's batteries went dead before I finished it... :-( |
