Palomar (sold by Palomar Engineers) and RF Systems (sold by Univeral Radio) are very good ones. There are less expensive ones, too, but after a point, you get what you pay for. Or you can roll your own if you feel so inclined. Plans for them are not hard to find. Depending on the length / height of the wire and the front end characteristics of the radio, a passive preselector might be a good accessory, also. |
