Please define your terms also; by "war" do you mean a formal
declaration? What powers do the leaders of the US and Canada have
given to them by their respective constitutions?

A wise person respects the efforts of the Armed Forces, a fool does
not understand. See below for my proof.

Despite their rhetoric, many in government do not really support the
troops. Liberals traditionally have great disdain for the military.
But it is actually a western cultural "tradition" to look down upon
the soldiers. We a scum and cannon fodder, worthy only to do the
bidding of the elites for a season, then be cast aside when we are no
longer useful.

Everyone should take a look at this website (posted below) about a
Rudyard Kipling poem named "Tommy". The poems tells of the public
respect and honor for the soldier, when the public wants his service
from him. After the soldier is used, then the people have no use for
him. Read the commentary after the poem, particularly this one from a
sailor:

"TO WHOM EVER,

I've come to the stark realization, that even our country is guilty of
this.
We aren't treated well unless the cowardly populations are afraid.
