Does the 1121 work as well on the SW was the 1103? I'm thinking it might be worth the extra just to be able to record....is the bands the same amount in terms of tuning? thanks It's like the KA-1102, no coverage below 3 MHz, wide filter less than 9 kHz with ultimate rejection over 20db; narrow filter less than 4 kHz with ultimate rejection over 80db. Has the NOAA weather added & you get the warranty for $200, or you can buy from China w/no NOAA weather & no warranty except maybe DOA exchange for $100. I think they're overcharging us as most models just a few $ more buying here instead of from China. You can get a KA-1102 & digital recorder for much less also & still have warranty. Or maybe $200 for the compactness is worth it to some. They claim the FM sensitivity is 5uv instead of the 10uv of the KA-1102/1103. The spec for SW sensitivity is the same, 20uv. 73, George S., MN |
