Why spend BIG dollars, I got a little Grundig 300 PE, works great, $30.00 USD at your local radio shack. This little rig has become a fav of mine. Fits into a shirt pocket, always with me and covers most of the important bands. But hey, those $10.00 buck rigs can let ya know if you really wanna bother with SW or not, and at $10 bucks it ain't no biggie ...
