Beats me - ask the fake Hispanic Eduardo.

I really feel that those Spanish only stations in the USofA should be required
to air at least 60% English so as to help *assimilate* the invaders.

FYI, rhe primary PBS station in the New York City area today started a
Spanish secondary digital channel, displacing an English digital
channel from some cable systems.

Of course, illegals working minimum wage or less probably are not
watching a digital TV channel of any variety.

Run along now... and spin some salsa.

Salsa is Puerto Rican. There is no such thing as a Puerto Rican illegal
immigrant.

I have an idea... if the big boys don't seem to think AM is viable, why not
give it back to the little local guys who CAN make it work? AM is still very
viable. It's the likes of Clear Channel et. al. that are killing it by
loading it down with the same **** all across the dial. Who the hell wants
cookie cutter radio?

The problem is that the same sort of system that made radio what it is
today has been applied to retailing. The national big box chains have
crushed the local or regional stores that used to be the main advertisers
on local radio.

But there is such a thing as a dumbass retard from Cleveland! You're not
Hispanic, you're not a Puerto Rican, you're not a Mexican and you're not an
Ecuadorian.

Nope, you're just David Frackelton Gleason outta Cleveland who developed the
'Eduardo' shtik c.2000 simply for business purposes.

Anything else is merely one of your many fabrications.

There would be no business reason for the name. It was given me at the time
I was baptized. I thought it was a neat way of creating a nick for
newsgroups and non-professional activities... since I already had it.

and Houston and Dublin,,, Dear Dirty Dublin) here in Mississippi. Please

the Monster on the Lake in Ohio.Don't get me wrong though,I like Ohio.

There go them cats again, making love up under the crawl space of my

KIRO, 50 kw in Seattle, is going to move to FM.

Er, didn't Bonneville sell KIRO to Entercom years ago?

And they just bought it back via a trade for the Bonneville San Francisco
staitons.

Anyway, it'll go over like a lead balloon. FM in Western Washington ends
up full of holes. (I live in one of them). There's a lot of rolling
hills and they can't get a transmitter high enough to fill in the shadows.

Bonneville is betting on FM for the future of news talk, having made moves
in DC, Phoenix and Salt Lake already. It may be a simulcast, but they need
the FM to get the sales demos... AM is increasingly over-55 and hard to
impossible to sell.
