and KGO used direct off air cues for news reporters rather than a separate
system. Other than the morning news block, KGO is HD in all permitted hours.

KGO is on with HD, except for the morning news block. One of their back-up
engineers even posted pictures of the new transmitter (Nautel) with the HD
module.
