If FCC mandates digital that will not be the case. Terrestrial
broadcasting will be digital. And alternatives will be satellite, or
internet.


Internet radio is already being smashed into oblivion by the latest rulings
on royalties for digital content. I suspect that most, if not all, of
Live365's stations (which constitute, to the best of my knowledge, the only
completely legal indy internet stations) will go offline soon, unless that
decision is rethought and changed, as most do not have the money to cover
the retroactive (to January, 2006) doubling of royalty fees.
