Been outta town so I missed the last of the Cavs game when WGN crapped out on me as we cruised into Springfield IL and all the Hawks game. Gonna make up for it by kissing ass into some sweet Nets tickets. So Im geared up for a solid stretch run. Its a bad feeling when you're outside the warm protection of the Bulls broadcast blanket and you know they're doing things but you can't tune in and find out. We took the kids downstate and exposed them to all things Lincoln. You wanna be ****ed off? Go to the Lincoln Museum and count the number of times people say, "just like George Bush" whenever an exhibit, movie, book, re-enactor, notes how unpopular Lincoln was over the Civil War. Im stepping out on a limb that we may need to visit in a long OT discussion after the season is over but..... Had Lincoln lived he would have been forever tarred with the cluster**** of Reconstruction and would've been remembered very differently I think. Now back to our march to the playoffs. td Screw the bulls. And hey, while I'm at it, screw you too. |
