Have a strange problem with Sangean DT200V. Radio is great but I can
only use one type of AA NiMH rechargeable - older Powerizer 2000 MaH. With newer and higher current AA's (eg., Sony 2500 MaH) radio don't turn on (The DT200V has electronic on switch). Is there something in the Sangean that senses the differences in batteries? Thanks! |

Check the voltage of each type with a DMM. |

As long as the voltage of the batteries is the same, it should make no difference. Does it have a charger built in for NiMH batteries as well? B |
