For One and All,

Two New Polls for the Grundig Satellit 800 Radio Group

If you were designing a new {replacement for the} Grundig Satellit 800
Radio :

-Question # 1-
What new feature would you replace the AIR Band with ?
VOTE = http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Satellit800/message/12909
[ ] Digital Radio Mondiale (DRM) for Shortwave Band
[ ] HD Radio (IBOC) for AM and FM Bands
[ ] Want "Both" DRM and HD Radio
[ ] Keep the AIR Band with No Changes
- - - Comments - Ideas - Vote

-Question # 2-
What new feature would you replace the Squelch Knob with ?
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Satellit800/message/12910
[ ] Pass Band Tuning (PBT) Knob
[ ] RF Gain Knob
[ ] Front Antenna Selector Switch
[ ] Keep the Squelch Knob with No Changes
- - - Comments - Ideas - Vote

Something-to-Think-About . . .
Will it take another 5~10-Years for Eton Corp [Grundig North America]
to come out with a replacement for the Grundig Satellit 800
Radio ? ? ?
- - - Comments - Ideas

-Or- Is the Grundig Satellit 800 Radio
the-last-of-the-last Grundig Satellit Radios ? ? ?
- - - Comments - Ideas

ok - so let's hear your comments and ideas here -or-
go to the grundig satellit 800 radio group and vote there ~ RHF

Rather than trying to fix a fundamentally troubled receiver, it would
be preferable to design a new one from scratch.
