One of the times when I was in N'Awlins, (New Orleans) in 1971, I saw an
ad in a newspaper about a restored 1955 MG car for sale.I phoned the guy and I drove over there to check the car out.We went riding. The car was quiet enough, but when he talked, it was like he was hollering at the top of his lungs.Turns out he worked off shore on an oil rig. Most Americans are not loud and brash and loud talking no more so than other people around the World.I always keep my radio and tv turned down low and I don't holler at people unless it's a situation where/when I would need to holler.I am really a quite dude and so are all of the people I know around here. cuhulin. |
