KJ,
IMO, the E5 is worthy step up from the 505. I've owned them both. The 505 was so-so. Gave it to a friend in Kansas. The E5 might be the most sensitve compact SW portable I've ever owned. And, I've noticed that they're going for some pretty reasonable prices on eBay. Good luck! I've searched the newsgroup archives and have found no clear answer. Thanks in advance for your advice. kj |
