WEWN {EWTN} - Open-Line on 5850 kHz @ 10:10 UTC . http://groups.google.com/group/short...e3203770d90957 . [stuff deleted] You do realize, since you posted about "netiquette" you must have read the stuff, that you are now technically spamming? You are now cluttering up this newsgroup with advertising to another space, that "google group". The only purpose of your post is to direct attention to that "google group". You are not adding to the discussion here, since you aren't actually really saying anything in these posts. Plus your long pasted in bit about those other groups is at the very least repetitive, and thus qualifies as spam. Note that a signature block is properly defined so it is recognized by real newsreader software as a signature and then when people reply with a proper newsreader, the signature disappears. SOme of your recent nonsense has had the same material included three times, as people aren't snipping the quoted material. But there are also community standards about the length of a signature, and you don't fit those standards, even if your "signature" was properly defined as a legit signature. The good news is that it appears we can get someone's google account cancelled for abuse of this newsgroup. And you've set yourself up for not only lots of abuse reports, but you keep blundering away with your abuse, making the case real easy. Michael |
