Touting a high GPA when you were only in college for a short time is
deceptive, since the only GPA anyone cares about is the one you had
upon graduation.

I was in my senior year when I was hired to go manage a station group; if a
GPA is indicative of anything beyond the ability to take tests and write
term papers, then it is relevant.

No it isn't. And even if it were, it wouldn't excuse your deception.

I do NOT own a TV

So radio is my cheap home entertainment

Does there exist any decent SW based clock radios to
keep near my bed at night to listen to SW programs
while going to sleep and upon wakening?

Any number of the SW portables have time-based "turn on" and can be used
as
an alarm clock. I have never had one that turned off by itself, though. I
think there are enough users of these receivers that someone might
recommend
one that combines good reception with the features you want.

Universal has a wide range of portables and you might look
athttp://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/portable.htmloreven give them a
call. I travel with the Sony ICF-SW7600GR and it has two timers.

You lied about your education, so why should be believe you when you
say you travel with a 7600GR?

Posting a certificate from an early acceptance type program, clearly visible
as such, is hardly a lie. It's a fact, simple and clear. Saying I have a
bunch of college credits which would earn a degree or maybe two were they
transferrable (an issue of accreditation, not of completion) is not a lie,
either. Just additional facts.

- Gleason, you are nothing more than a sad little pathological liar.
- You always have been, always will be, nothing more, and nothing
less.

The Realistic DX 440 and Degen 1103 have both sleep timers and timed
automatic turn-on functions.

I wouldn't count on SW radio to wake me up, however.

The 7600gr that you use will turn itself off. Just use the sleep
button right next to the power button.

I

And both timers can be set to turn on to specific radio stations. But
I find that the alarm is much better for waking me up.
