What happened. An advancement in broadcast technology. WABC flipped the switch for HD Radio. Something many stations are doing with, so far, little notice from the public." http://www.poconorecord.com/apps/pbc...LENT/710010324 It has destroyed WABC in upstate NY also. I am about 70 miles north. Ish I think the best thing is to protest to the FCC about whole matter. As well as writing your congressman and giving them a piece of your mind about the destruction of the public airwaves by the HD Radio plotters. This is quite intentional when you consider that they knew through testing and experimentation what havoc it would cause. When you cannot listen to a night time station 70 miles from you, you have problems especially at 50 kw such as WABC. |
