messing up that particular piece of spectrum, huh?



Not the same. The FCC's decision to convert from analog-to-digital on
the AM band does Not make the bandwidth any smaller. It's still the
same size as always (530-1710).

But deleting channels 5-6 *does* shrink the bandwidth for television
(and also puts several stations across the nation out-of-business).
