You're assuming here that AM IBOC will continue to advance. It might
not, in which case AM might stand at least a slim chance of survival.

To the contrary. If there proves to be no way to make AM sound better to the
undeer.45 group, AM is over. The band may remain, with niche formats and
ethnic and religious offerings, but it wil capture maybe 4% to 5% of all
listening, and very little revenue.
