Default 2008 Buick, Hummer and Saab to get XM satellite radio

"2008 Buick, Hummer and Saab to get XM satellite radio"

"Earlier we spoke about Ford installing HD radio for 2008 models. This
time the news is from GM with XM satellite radio standard on all 2008
Buick, Hummer and Saab models. The automaker has announced that all
2008 models will now come with a three month subscription to XM, which
can be extended for about $12 a month. GM has previously made XM
satellite radio standard on several 2008 models counting the Chevrolet
Malibu, Silverado, Tahoe, Cobalt, Corvette and Impala; Saturn Vue,
Outlook, Aura and Sky; GMC Acadia, Yukon and Sierra; and the Pontiac
G5 and Solstice. Again, XM satellite radio is already customary on
all Cadillac models."

Ford's HD Radio is only a $350 dealer-installed, point-of-sale option
(Ford owns Visteon and Ford is an investor in iBiquity) , as Ford goes
standard with Sync. It's over for any chance of standard HD Radio -
Ha! Ha! Edurado! Take this to your little research staff - are they
still laughing, now?
