Dear Sir,
I bought my AOR AR7030 'Plus' new in March 2004. In March 2009 (after five years), I plan to open the case and check the "looks" of the backup battery. After that, I plan to do this examination yearly. Also, of course, I will note any possible performance changes that could be attributable to the battery. If the battery in fact does last ten years, then no matter, I will replace it. That's cheap insurance! There's a TSB on the AOR UK website that will address this issue. In fact, there is quite a list of TSBs for this rig. |
