Default Broadcast station in Franz Josef Land?

I don't suppose anyone here knows if there are any broadcast stations in
Franz Josef Land?

(yes, it's a real place...)

The station in Alert, Canada has gone off the air and surrendered its
license. If there is a station in FJL, it would now be the world's
northernmost. (if not, the title would go to one of the two stations in
Qaanaaq, Greenland)

No, there are no broadcast stations on Franz Josef Land to my
knowledge. The world's northernmost AM broadcast station as far as I
know is NRK Longyearbyen, Svalbard, located roughly at 78deg 13min N,
15deg 39min E. (1485 kHz, 1kW), which is around 50 minutes further
north than Thule/Qaanaaq. I believe there are NRK FM repeaters in Ny-
Ålesund, Svalbard, on 78deg 55min N. NRK = Norwegian Broadcasting
Corporation.

Recently there has been an amateur radio station transmitting from Franz
Josef Land on some of the different amateur allocations. Otherwise, I don't
know if I have ever seen anything from there either in some of the
publications or even the net.
