And the 2600 has a two-way coaxial speaker. Very nice sounding radio.

most people don't know it but the 2600 is basically a 2900 with single
speed tuning. I studied the schematics for both to determine this myself.
the RF-2900 is a great radio, so that means the 2600 is also.
