Why this? *In most cases, the deadbeat bidder never leaves feedback anyway.
But now, the seller can't leave negatives for deadbeats.

will be removed.
This makes no sense. *What about temporary suspensions? *Will that clear
out
the negatives too?

* a.. Buyers must wait 3 days before leaving negative or neutral Feedback
for sellers with an established track record, to encourage communication.
OK.

* a.. All Feedback must be left within 60 days (compared to 90 days today)
of listing end to encourage timely Feedback and discourage abuse.
OK.

* a.. Buyers will be held more accountable when sellers report an unpaid
item or commit other policy violations.
This needs clarification.

Well folks, eBay has revised their fee structure (again)

In a nutshell:


66% final value fee hike for items under $25.00.


Sellers can only leave positive feedback for buyers, but buyers can still
leave
negatives for sellers.


In certain instances, PayPal can put a hold on payments for 21 days if
the
buyer
leaves no feedback.


NO refund of reserve fees if an item sells.


There are lower listing fees, but that really doesn't mean a whole lot
for
low
volume casual sellers like many of us are. In most cases it's essentially
a
trade of dollars to eBay for pennies to small-time sellers.

Everyone's gonna have their own spin on this, in my opinion it is an
overall
negative for people in remote locations who must use eBay to populate and
sell
items in their collections.


For everyone else, it may be actually be a positive. Ebay is not the
gravy
train
that it once was long ago, and they seem to be hell-bent on exerting more
and
more control over sellers in their pursuit of the almighty dollar. The
more
complicated and expensive the process for moving items on eBay becomes,
the more
likely it becomes that sellers will start going back to the swaps....and
that's
not a bad thing at all.

I imagine sellers like Radiomart and Gottahaveit1985 should just love
these
new feedback rules. Like I said long ago, E-Bay could care less about
Buyers and
does everything to kiss Seller's collective tuckus since this is where
they have
their bread buttered. E-Screw can go to hell for all I care. Same
thing goes
for Paypal, the USA's only non-regulated online financial institution
which is
the preffered medium for money transfers between Al-Quaada and other
terrorists.


to me the biggest reason paypal/ebay sucks and why id NEVER ever use
paypal cause if someone you seel something to has a totally bogus
complaignt you could find yourself short the money and w/little
recourse

if i get paid i don't want anyone to have the ability to just 'take'
my money away putting a burden on me to get it back, to wich i
might not i sell practically nothing anyplace so no biggie for
me and as mostly a occionasional buyer if rules favor the buyer
iam happy

but for a few thngs i might like to sell i'd never use pp for that
reason i believe this issue is well documented
