You told me you'd never mention those pictures to ANYONE.

I didn't tell you s**t, boy.

When you told
me you actually wear the bras Cuhulin sends you (especially the red
one), I trusted you to keep your little gay secret out of the public forum.

What exactly will your State police say when they find out I am twelve
years old?

They'll laugh their ass's off because you're a dumbass Canuck!

Will they appreciate your 'art' collection?

The question really is, will the RCMP appreciate yours, boy?

You were planning to humiliate me all along? We would NEVER have gone to
the motel with you and your Second in Command if we knew you couldn't be
trusted. Nothing sadder than old lying drag queen, such as yourself.

I have to leave now, a little wiser yet still hurt by your betrayal,
Steve. I won't be answering any more classified ads from Holland MI in
the future.

Please, feel free to have the last word.

Plenty of your ilk to play with close to home in CanaDuh, right?

Please, feel free to have the last word.

I'm free to do as I please, boy. After all, I'm not a dumbass Canuck.

Radio wants no talent, Cheap, part time & no benefits.

The trends are towards more voice tracking, yes more, not less and cyber
jocking. Hello Rent-A-Jock.
If radio rises out of the ashes is may come back better than ever, so far
leadership is still moving towards cutting more fat.

Localism and being a part of the community is a thing of the past.
Consolation was the worst thing ever to happen to radio.
I was great for the greed mongers (Mays family) who run Clear Channel, Cox
Broadcasting and the rest of the radio morons. But in the end they've
destroyed the industry. HD so far is dead because of lack of interest from
listeners. And more gadgets are on the horizon.
While HD struggles to be standard equipment in most vehicles, you watch the
internet will be the gadget of choice. And cheap wimax wireless access will
be everyplace.

The best thing that could happen is stations go dark and station values hit
rock bottom. Like the housing bubble. Then real radio operators will come in
and start over again. We might have a chance but the above must happen
first..

Bain/lee the suckers who bought Clear Channel may very well be the first
group to fall. These guys are investors not radio operators.

Actually, radio stocks are down at least 50%, and some are down 90%.
This goes to show that with iPods, cell phones, etc the long-term
outlook for radio is grim.

Stock price often has little to do with a business and more to do with
market trends and hot and cold sectors.

I'm going to retire enjoyable due to buying "value stocks" which are
simply
companies throwing off lots of cash and paying dividends which are
undervalued by various metrics.

Didn't you say sometime back that you'd have to keep working due to the
fact
that radio firms didn't have much of a pension plan? Something along the
lines
of being 70 years old or so?

No, I did not. You, in typical fachion, reversed the data points:

In the 60's and 70's, few radio companies, because they were so small, had
any kind of benefits... health insurance was not common, and benefits even
less common.

Today, most larger radio companies have full benefits menus. To the extent
that if we want to work beyond regular retirement ages, it is only because
we enjoy the business and want to keep working.

"retire enjoyable" at 70 or so doesn't seem too enjoyable.

Many people do not want to be retired and doing nothing.

Or is this merely another shipment of your BS?

No, it is just an example of your poor reading comprehension. You must have
gone to a bad US public school.

Radio wasn't very big on pension or thrift plans, as a rule, but they do
exist. And after the mid 80's, for executives with a specified time in
service, profit sharing, thrift and pension plans became more common among
very large firms. And they exist with different plans for different levels
of service, or rank within the company.

I had both a 401k and a company pension plan when I exited the business,
in addition to my portfoli, and my own financial plan for retirement.

Generally, front line employees, like disk jockeys, and support staff
like banner hangers, don't last long enough to have much in the way of
vested interest in company assets and plans, so, for most, in radio, there
are no pensions.

Generally, any of the medium and larger companies today has a 401k with a
percentage match. Very few companies that were not unionied back before the
60's or so have pension plans; they are the product of unionism of the
post-war boom years and today's post-consolidation companies did not exist
then and acquired no such burden.

Everywhere I look, 401k participation begins as soon as 90 days after
starting employment, and they can roll over if a person changes employment.

Then, again, if you really do well in Radio, you don't need a company
pension...you've covered that on your own.

This is true, and covers the best talent, sellers and managers.

My own plan was far better than any company offerings in which I was
vested. I simply cashed out my company plans when I exited, because my own
plans were so much better.

Even better is to enjoy the tax benefits of deferred taxation vehicles and
to have taxable accounts which are additionally funded.

Anything to listen to other than more station sweepers, jukebox radio and
jocks who say nothing. Other than the station ID over and over and music
intros.. talk to me like I'm person and say something worth listening to.

And unlike you, I studied on my own and made a rather significant career out
of it. You, on the other hand, do basically nothing. How boring.
