KFBK, Sparky. Check out their co-linear antennas. Very cool.

(Just setting the record straight-**** you very much)

The antennas are called Franklin antennas, consisting of a fed top half wave
section with another, insulated from the top, half wave below it. Most
efficient AM antenna design known.

No, I'm not a faux Hispanic, like 'Eduardo'.

You didn't own one of those either.

Maybe KFBK will let you pretend that you own theirs!

Lets see a Two Element Antenna with two equal sized
elements fed at a common Center-Point . . .

Sure sounds like a Vertical Half-Wave Dipole to me.

But calling it a Franklin is ok by me. ~ RHF

You have got to be kidding. For about two weeks I could not get KOH
on
780 until someone turned off their IBOC noise maker evenings.
KOH was never meant to reach Ventura.
Tell Telemon that.

Your model is flawed.
KOH comes in just fine evenings at home or in the car.

KOH was never meant to reach Ventura.

Tell it to God. Or whoever wrote the laws of physics.

Well, God is well aware that radio signals can go on forever in theory.

But in world of mortals, there is a point where the signal isn't protected.

Not protected by design and practice.

KFI has a better news department and delivery than KNX.

Now if they could only deliver it beyond LA county,
till then it's KNX that gets heard down here.
