Default Vanilla Ice + Britney Spears = Howard Stern

I wasn't going to get Satellite Radio, but my new Edge has it built in
(Serius) so I went for it. One of the main reasons I did was to listen to
Stern again.

I did for maybe a day. Then I put it on the Blue Collar Comedy Channel and
it's been there every since. 8 months now

Stern was actually more amusing when he had to hide/sneak-in the cuss words
creatively

Howard made a HUGE MISTAKE when he went to Satellite Radio some years
ago. Conservative estimates place his loss of listenership as high as
55% when he left conventional FM broadcast radio for PAY satellite
radio. Most of his listeners can't even afford or don't even ewant a
Sat radio. Howard is therefore a NOBODY. He shot himself in the foot.
If he's smart he'll abandon Sat Radio and go back to conventional FM
Broadcasting outlets ASAP.

He was brilliant at marketing himself. He won.

Back in 70's, when I was a soldier at Ft. Meade, Md, we used to listen
to Howard and Robin on the local rock station, KY 92 or something, it
was 10% Howard and 90% rock. The wifey won Rolling Stones tickets at
the old Capitol Center (torn down a while back) from him. He was
funny as hell then and FCC correct.

I used to think the same of Eddie Murphy until I saw his "Raw" video.
Just too damned gratuitous with the F Bombs for my taste. Some guys
don't need it to be funny (Seinfeld or Leno come to mind), and, others
know how to use it to it's F-in' funniest (Carlin).

45% of Howard's Listenership is a huge boost for satellite radio

The FCC was forcing Howard off the air with rules and fines

Howard got PAID. In the end, he won.

You obviously don't listen to the show, or you wouldn't say something so
stupid..

You listened one day, and gave up on it? That's not exactly a fair
shot.. Some days, it's not great, other days, it's better than ever.

I've found only one place with the streaming video:
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/coolasicebluray. To get past the
ad just enter your name (apparently it takes ANYTHING so don't use
your real name) and enter something in the comment. DON'T choose
anonymous or it'll give you some page about donating blah blah blah.

I don't know who I pity more...

No one gives a ****. For them, or Stern. He **** the bed after Jackie left....

Jackie was ok, but not as great as some people seem to think he was.
I'll take Artie most of the time over Jackie.
