![]() =========== Please make a request to "How it is made" per SW broadcasting station ::http://www.commentcestfait.com/html/...type=commentsI would like 30,000 or 40,000 people to post this request to the "How It Is Made" show that runs on the Canadian Discovery Channel, the Science Channel, etc .... worldwide.Use the above link and copy and paste the content below, but feel free to customize it a little -- each message should be different. Max Power, CEO Power Broadcasting PS: One of the links is for a free screen saver ... for XP and Vista. =========== Please do a show on how shortwave programming is broadcast, and how a shortwave relay station is run. Canada (via RCInet.ca aka Radio Canada International) has a SW transmission facility at Sackville, NB. Shortwave broadcasting is the most complex form of radio broadcasting as -- it involves changing frequency several times daily [to the same target zone] due to the changing nature of the ionosphere -- changing antennas to different target zones (Caribbean, South America, West Africa ...) so as to allow the broadcaster to reach as many different parts of the world as possible == FRANCE may be able to help here == RFI (Radio FR Int) and TDF (Tele. Diff. de France) have an ALLISS transmission network in France, the crew could record several tours of these transmitter sites to show the modern SW relay station as a fully automated standalone entity. A Quebec production company may get privileges not available to other film crews, with respect to the ALLISS technology. TDF (a transmission services company) also has access to Wertachtal, perhaps the most powerful SW relay station in Western Europe not using the ALLISS technology. == RIZ == RIZ (www.riz.hr) may be able to show how a shortwave transmitter is built. There website displays several models that are made via: Transmitters Shortwave 10 20 50 100 etc ... or_100_k_02a.pdf (if you want to get or print PDFs) A CD Rom of their offerings is available.
