Default Liquid Display

Hi,
Was wondering if the display liquid on a DX-394 can be fixed? Radio was
dropped and numbers only partially show on screen.
Thank you for your time and patience...................B

BD,

Realistic {RadioShack} DX-394 Receiverhttp://www.dxing.com/rx/dx302.htmhttp://www.rigpix.com/rs-realistic/realistic_dx394.htm
It's 10 Years old and the unique Parts like the LCD
may not be available any more -and/or- The cost of
the Parts and Repairs may exceed the value of Radio.http://www.mwcircle.org/res-receiver-rshackdx394.htm

Search for a USED Realistic {RadioShack} DX-394
Receiver on eBayhttp://shop.ebay.com/items/?_nkw=Radio+DX-394&_fromfsb=&_trksid=m270

Did the glass crack? If not portions of the edge connector may have
lost contact. Sometimes this can be repaired by applying increased
pressure to the edges of the LCD. Additionally, Check the connections
from the Driver IC to the LCD. Did a PCB trace crack or cold solder
joint fail?
