Default ICOM IC-7200

Thanks for posting price. Also agree not bad at all. Was similarly
considering a 718, but now think added featrues on 7200 more than
justify higher price, only a few hundred bucks.
Also seriously considering Yaesu 597, since P/S and A/T can be
combined with main body of txcvr (very convenient, vs separate units.)
Ran off manual for 897 and this txcvr is no slouch either, and has
added bandscope, and overall price, equipped with P/S and A/T is not
too far of a similarly equipped setup with the 7200. However, the
7200s multiple bandwidth selection, every 200 HZ from 200Hz to 8Khz
really intrigues me, especially for SW listening - what a goldmine of
selectivity !!
As many know selectivity capability is paramount on SW and especially
if Cycle 24 decides to get under way and bands becomes more crowded.
Enough of my rattling on. Thanks to all.
and Good Listening ... from SW4ever ...
