Default Crutchfield/iBiquity HD Radio complaint

"HD Radio Scam or Half Truth"

"Both Ibiquity and Crutchfield promote HD Radio technology for profit.
They claim that HD Radio offers crystal clear sound without crackling
and popping sometimes associated with standard analog signals
transmissions. What they don't tell you is that HD Radio reception is
very limited. If you are not with in relatively close range HD Radio
will pop on and off the air. No crackling but what's the advantage?
Most of us consumers consider half truths in the market place to be no
better than a scam."

It's no wonder that these HD Radio clunkers are being returned en-
masse!

Default North Korea HD Radio complaint

Don't worry. As soon as the ancient ANALogue carrier is turned off
and replaced with a 100% full power Digitally Modulated carrier your
concerns will be read about in the internet archives with curiousity
and much laughter.

If ObaMao takes over and becomes the fascist socialist dictator he
portends to be you can expect North Korea to surpass the U.S. in
digital radio broadcast advancements.

Meanwhile, buy more shortwave receivers. The Communist Party owned
Chinese factories need your business.

LOL! It would take an act of Congreess to mandate an anlog shutoff
date for radio. Unlike digital TV, there is no spectrum to be
auctioned-off, thus no incentive to mandate digital radio. Besides, no
one buys radios anymore, certainly not empty HD radios. Will never
happen - LOL!

LOL! No, we'll be laughing about iBiquity's Chapter11, since HD radios
are being pulled from store shelves and inventories. Automakers such
as Volvo and Ford have not installed HD radios, and HD Radio is being
rejected by BMW and Jaguar. LOL!
