Satellite had a net loss of subscribers last year, with a horrible Christmas season and low sales of new cars with pre-installs sealing that coffin. They lost a collective $12 billion since launching, and are, even merged, not profitable. With the auto industry in crisis, they may not survive or will be sold to a media company... although few would want to take on the operating losses. |
