That device is illegal. *200 mW goes a lot further than 450 feet. Dave - Both UL and CE Certified. -wink-wink- The 200mW might be the Total Operating Power of the Unit and not just the Output Power. One flaw so far is that it is only 'mono-phonic' and not Stereo. However the "Whole House" Gold FM Transmitter is "Stereo" -but- it only has a simple short Wire "Whip" Antenna. which really limits it range. http://www.wholehousefmtransmitter.c...tion-p-39.html Someone should design a small FM Transmitter that uses (can take) a standard FM Folded Dipole Antenna http://www.gnnradio.org/fmdipole.jpg made from 300 Ohm Twin-Lead for the broadcast Antenna : Set it up Vertical {Omni} or Horizontal for E2W or N2S coverage on your property. http://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/misc/1268.jpg ~ RHF |
