Default Grundig Satellit 800 Lock & Antenna

Hi:

I'm new to the RADIOBANTER forum although some of you may know me from SW newsgroups.

I just got the Satellite 800. I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether it has a Lock feature so that the Power cannot be accidently turned on. Most digital radios I own do have this feature. I didn't notice this mentioned in the Manual.

Also, I noticed that when fully extended, the whip antenna pivot clicks when the antenna is placed in different SET positions other than the vertical. Is this a normal feature?

If anyone can answer these questions, would be appreciated. Thanks.

NO the Grundig Satellit 800-M Radio only has
a simple On-&-Off Power Button
1 - Un-Plug the Wall Wart when away.
2 - Make an Auxiliary No-&-Off Switch for insertion
between two of the Batterys.

Yes that is right cause the ain't any such feature
with the Grundig Satellit 800-M Radio.

Yes that is right cause that is a feature of the
Grundig Satellit 800-M Radio's Whip Antenna.

It is a Large Long Heavy Whip Antenna and the
'Detents" help to hold it 'in-place' at an Angle.
