And, as always, don't let your children attend Louisville Technical Institute.
They've hired at least one dufus who once claimed to have a PhD, and who knows,
there may be more dufi there.

"nice black army hat"...

Airborne were REALLY ****ed when they made those black berets standard Army
issue.. they had been for a very long time the most recognizable symbol of
Army Airborne, and they wore them with great pride, much the same as the
Special Forces Green Berets..

Oh really? That's a good story, I'll ask him if he knows about that or
not. I told him I didn't want a camo or anything because I'm not
serving now and I left it up to him.

When he told me what the hat looked like he said "these are the
baddest looking hats." When he gave it to me I about crapped,
definitely an eye catcher and I could see where one branch would be
ticked, especially with a design like that. Sharpest hat I ever owned,
now I can retire my Navy hat, which is sharp also, but not like this
one. Thanks for the heads up B.A.

I was just reading your post again, are we talking about the same
thing? This is a baseball type hat. It is black and in an embroidered
white on the bill it says "U.S.Army." At the top of the hat it says
the same thing and below it in gray - the Eagle with the arrows in the
left talons and on one quarter of the side of the hat on the right in
a darker hue of gray is that same eagle only bigger. Then it has the
white US Army on the velcro part that is adjustable which is cool
because usually I have to cut that part off because I have an
extremely big head...but it fit perfectly.

Retire wasn't the proper word, I know what you are saying. If it helps
any, It will now be my "boat hat"....which is appropriate.:-) Three
different colors of blue with the big white anchor and in embroidered
white above it says Navy, was the sharpest hat I ever saw till the new
Army design.
