Where did you get this news?

I complained to them about their signal sounding really bad at night
when the phase cancelations occurred and the hiss in general anytime day
or night.

I can see it is off right now at 6:13 PM PT. Is it off day and night now
or just night time?

I got the news by tuning-in and noticing I did not have to turn off my
Synchronous Sideband to make the wuba-wubba-wubba go away. This was in
the day time.

That's great news Dave. Now I can listen to KFI in the evening again.
Hopefully the the IBOC will stay off.

In the car in the daytime if I traveled behind a large building,
hillside or any weak signal area that noise would show up. It was very
annoying.

Hopefully, another IBLOCKer off for good! Struble is a scam-artist!

As I was tuning the MW band on a couple of receivers last night, I
noticed far less IBOC hash across the bands. Most significantly, local
WHAS has it turned off, enabling clear reception of KOA and WCCO - two
of my favorites.

Yup, they are starting to turn off both FM-HD and AM-HD, but I am sure
it will be gradual - far too embarrassng for the broadcasters that
bought into Struble's scam. An up-to-date AM-HD list:

http://topazdesigns.com/iboc/station-list.html

To check the actual number of IBLOCK stations converted check here
(not the "near 2000 that Struble claims"):

I like Rick Barber. Apparently Clear Channel is joining Citadel and
stopping the madness at night.

Nope... just running on the aux transmitter due to some issues with the
main.

Currently, there are 1,904 HD Radio Stations
broadcasting across the nation.

There are 172 HD-Radio Stations in California
broadcasting 256 HD Radio Channels, with 17
more coming soon.

-ps- That adds up to 84 more FM "HD2" Channels
on the FM Radio Band in California alone.

If you check the FCC's database only 1,700+ have converted:

The FCC database is notoriously inaccurate. Since no permit is required to
commence HD broadcasts, some stations have failed to notify and other
notifications have not been processed or posted.
