Bleached white rice we exported to Vietnam was one of our sekert weapons
in the Vietnam Conflict, (some people call it the Vietnam War.Korea was
a Police Action) because bleached white rice has very little nutrional
value.Those Vietnamese people who worked for up/with us at the ammo dump
a few miles North of the Tan Son Nhut North gate, they used to bring a
lump of bleached white rice (sometimes with a cooked egg with the
bleached white rice) wrapped in newspaper with them for their dinner.I
used to drive a 2 1/2 ton Army truck to the Main Gate (they walked
through a smaller gate by the Main Gate, after getting their ID cards
checked) in the mornings after chow and pick them up.
