Give Away a Radio Today!
I know a lot of us collect radios. I have so many that my daughter is
threatening to have me committed if I buy another one. So, to attempt peace in my family, while also trying to spread the radio hobby, I challenge people in here to engage in an effort that I've personally started for myself: Find someone you think would be interested in the radio hobby and give away a radio you're not using. I started this morning. I took two radios to work and gave them away. One went to the instructor across the hall, who has often been nice to me. He likes to mess around repairing old electronics, so I gave him a DX-440. The other radio was an old 10 meter transceiver that went to an electronics instructor. They both were absolutely enthralled with the equipment I gave to them. Give it a try. It's a neat feeling. Mike Derby City |

Crap, your daughter needs to have you comitted for being a pathological liar. [ rest of the BS (Bryant Sierra) snipped] |

How long's it been since you held an actual job, Steve? Why don't you tell us the nature of that disability upon which you're collecting money from the gov't? Now, which ancestor of yours was a member of the Miami tribe? And, would you like to explain to us, once again, what you did when you were in the Navy? Let's see if you can keep your "lies" straight! You can just go hustle your fat lying ass over to the archives to find those answers, dufus boy! dxAce Michigan USA And, as always, don't let your children attend Louisville Technical Institute. They've hired at least one dufus who once claimed to have a PhD, and who knows, there may be more dufi there. |

I certainly am not in need of your junk, dufus! Yeah, I know all of my radios are clearly junk compared to your top-of- the-line Drakes, but some of us can't afford them. Some of us have to work, instead of surviving on a paltry disability check. Just goes to show how stupid I really am. I turned down a full disability four years ago. I guess I should have took it, so I could've been able to purchase thousands of dollars worth or receivers and been able to listen to them 24 hours per day while typing repetitive nonsense over and over on the internet. Steve, you are clearly a whole lot smarter than I am. Be my role model, Steve. |
