Default Give Away a Radio Today!

I know a lot of us collect radios. I have so many that my daughter is
threatening to have me committed if I buy another one. So, to attempt
peace in my family, while also trying to spread the radio hobby, I
challenge people in here to engage in an effort that I've personally
started for myself:

Find someone you think would be interested in the radio hobby and give
away a radio you're not using.

I started this morning. I took two radios to work and gave them away.
One went to the instructor across the hall, who has often been nice to
me. He likes to mess around repairing old electronics, so I gave him a
DX-440. The other radio was an old 10 meter transceiver that went to
an electronics instructor. They both were absolutely enthralled with
the equipment I gave to them.

Give it a try. It's a neat feeling.

Well, gee, Steve, are you upset that I didn't give you a radio?

Yeah, I know all of my radios are clearly junk compared to your top-of-
the-line Drakes, but some of us can't afford them. Some of us have to
work, instead of surviving on a paltry disability check. Just goes to
show how stupid I really am. I turned down a full disability four
years ago. I guess I should have took it, so I could've been able to
purchase thousands of dollars worth or receivers and been able to
listen to them 24 hours per day while typing repetitive nonsense over
and over on the internet.

Steve, you are clearly a whole lot smarter than I am.

Be my role model, Steve.

What about all that money you've won betting, dufus boy?

To get disability one must apply for it. If you did apply for it then just why
did you turn it down, dufus boy?

(This should be an interesting lie, errrr...story!)

At least you're right about something, dufus boy!

And, as always, don't let your children attend Louisville Technical Institute.
They've hired at least one dufus who once claimed to have a PhD, and who knows,
there may be more dufi there.

Oh yes, all Social Security Disability is 'full' disability, dufus. There is no
such thing as getting a 'partial' disability from SS. It's all or nothing,
dufus.

Just like there is no such thing as a 'partial' dufus.

You are a 'full' dufus.

So, dufus, please inform us of this 'disability' that you 'turned down'.

Just what is the nature of your 'disability'?

Did you get a marijuana seed stuck up your nose?

Is Louisville Technical Institute aware of your 'disability'?

If not, do you think that they should be made aware of your 'disability'?
