Well, I'm tickled to see you report that. I've posted many times in
this newsgroup that historical analysis will suggest that right-wing
American industrialists, specifically including the ones you mention,
had far more to do with Hitler's rise than did any left-wing socialist
groups.

Why does that convey a responsibility for the violence of WW2 on OUR
backs? Am I accountable for the actions of Henry Ford?

Please don't disrespect the courage of these brave souls on this day.

Again I am awed by their bravery and willingness to face probable death
taking those beaches and cliffs.

I hope the 20th Century will go down as the most violent in human history.
