Hi Guys,

I couldn't wait to get home to post after running some errands and
'accidentally' dropping by the electronics store on the way home. Well
boys, I HAVE finally taken the plunge and purchased MY very first
shortwave unit....

The Grundig Aviator G6 (Special Buzz Aldrin LIMITED Edition), it's
sleek and stylish, its lines are smooth, and its oh so sexy - and I am
now the proud owner of one!

* * * * * *Absolutely terrible number of images on the
* * * * * *supposed Aviation bands.
* * * * * And many airports don't use all those frequencies
* * * * * as you will find out.

* * * * * *Batteries about 8 hours of continuous.
* * * * * *3 clocks and their alphanumberic labelling are good features.
* * * * * *Not really sensitive.

Yeah, I definitely agree with you. Hopefully he got
a good one. One other thing I would recommend,
like I do when I take my DX398 out, get you head
phones. If you do that, your set of batteries will
last an extremely long time.
