This morning I was using my old air compresser to pump up a tire.It is
an old tankless one cylinder oiless air compresser which I think dates back to the 1950s or 1960s, it weighs a ton.The usual sound of the aircompresser is a loud knocking noise when it was working ok.It was running ok this morning, but then it started making a soft thumping noise.Would that be the capacitor on the side of the motor has gone bad/worn out? If so, I can buy a new capacitor at the Flanagan Electric store, or the Johnstone store. cuhulin |
