I thought the "pay cuts" only applied to execs of companies that took
the governments bailout money in order to survive. If that is the case,
then the companies would have gone under without the bailout so it's
only fair the government impose some conditions as to how the companies
operate. Especially so when, in the publics mind, the exec pay is
excessive with respect to company profitability.
