What is electronic harrassment?

Recently I got a notice in the mail, from a politician that thinks
federal stimulus money is some kind of good thing, that new laws have
been enacted regarding on line harassment? This new law describes a
person who communicate with others without revealing their true
identity, that they are prohibited from harming others. In my view,
that definition is exclusively limited to the physical injury to a
person as a direct sole result of the communication in question, that
requires medical attention, otherwise you infringe, or abridge the
free speech of political ideas?

The law also covers other issues, such as identity theft, etc. The
only reason I am writing this is that the word harm can cover a broad
range of issues, and it can not conflict with traditional freedoms of
speech, without a public announcement that such free speech has been
removed from the Constitution of the United States of America. For
instance a law that requires that I buy health insurance, could harm
my budget, so that means that members of Congress that vote to approve
such a law, could potentially be guilty of a third degree felony?
History is full of individuals that are not harmed by criticism, and
in fact such criticism can motivate and inspire them to prove their
critics wrong?

Personally, I would argue that social network sites are informal means
of communication that are not designed to properly convey the
intention of authors or explain viewpoints in the same context or
clarity as sending a certified letter to someone regarding your
viewpoints, especially when every day on the media, they claim that
the internet is full of lies, you can't have it both ways people, you
can't say the internet is full of lies, and then start suing people
for real or imaginary damages, because the public perception is that
the internet is not a valid communication source, but an unreliable
one that is not guaranteed

When the designers of such software programs that make social
networking sites require users to accept terms and conditions, those
same terms and conditions should apply to users of software when ever
possible. To say that Twitter is a valid vehicle for a world wide view
is a lunatic view, most messages are viewed by less than a thousand
people, not world wide, and there is reasonable doubt that a 140
character message (or even a series of them) can encompass your entire
view about a subject to define a legal viewpoint, let alone justify
your loss of freedom of speech that is not to be abridged by
lawsuits.

Unless there is a specific literal threat that would describe in
detail how the author a of a message is going to cause you physical
injury that requires medical attention, which is therefore a threat, I
believe that we have no business regulating free speech, because your
opinion is protected speech, there is no law that says you have to
like a product, service, or individual.

What are you going to do to compete in a global economy, sue other
countries because they harmed your imagination? Such laws amount to
enforcement by the discretion of lawmakers, since it would be
impossible to enforce all violations of the law if you regulated the
thought process, instead of the actions of individuals? When you make
laws that are only enforceable by the discretion of law makers, have
you violated your fundamental basis of American law, that all laws are
just and apply to everyone? Oh that's right, I am writing about a
country where 40% of the population does not pay income taxes, because
that is fair, and that is another issue we should try to change if you
want good jobs?

What is to abridge? To turn aside, to reduce in scope, shorten in
duration, shorten in extent. In other words, the government is to have
a hands off approach to speech, because being a part of society (which
someone recently attempted to "advise" me on) includes that the speech
of others is part of your environment. If you don't like your
environment, you either get out of there, or change it. God said to
run away from evil, and he would not have said that, if He did not
always provide a way out.

You respect people when you consider their views, by reflecting their
thoughts or actions against your own? That may not happen over night,
or in a blink of an eye, although it can happen that way. The good,
new idea is not a litmus test, it is an audition? Some of us can
wrestle with the expressions of opinion, by using the same moves of
criticism, by using the same moves of negative opinions, but we win
the battle with love, because those negative viewpoints are not used
by themselves, but in combination of the alternative viewpoint and
positive justification?

If I can wrestle your mind with opinions, and drag you through the
torment of failure, by demonstrating the end result of peace, faith,
and love (which includes defeating error), then I have performed the
ultimate smacketh down of all time, without laying a hand on you? And
that is what God does, by opening the ears of the oppressed.

If God was a wrestler, did he have to use a chair? It takes the
pressure of soil, to get the seed to begin to live?

Being that this is the most exciting, most entertaining, fact finding,
idea busting, fun loving, egg shell mind crunching, invincible
smacketh downeth erectus amongus, you can't see the truth coming, but
you know it is anyway, sonic boom of Conservatism, and, most powerful
keyboard in the world,
