Default HD makes the list. The decade's 30 biggest tech flops

I am heading back over to the Sears store in the morning, abouts nine
sompin hours from now.

www.devilfinder.com
Craftsman Plunge Cut 3'' Mini Circular Saw

I have been wanting me a little saw like that for a Long, Long

doesn't run on damn batteries.I Hate battery powered tools, they SUCK!

Then, from the Sears store, about a block and a half to the Goodwill
store www.shopgoodwill.com to see if that
Ethan Allen couch is still there, it probally is.

No, actually you deleted the point.

If I deleted it, it was a point that I didn't feel needed addressing.

It was the point of the conversation. You deleted it and took the
conversation way from IBOC and made it about AM Stereo. I made a an AM
stereo reference as a comparartive. My point was about IBOC. You deleted
it. And addressed items that weren't being argued.

Then I made my points. Why do you keep responding. (Oh, I know...your are
trying to find a way to keep this thread going...)

Then why are you responding. Oh, that's right! Your Maus...who has to
get
in the last word and argue insigniifcant things ad nauseum....

Yeah....I"m the problem. You were so attentive to details you failed to
miss that I was actually on your side of the issue.

Again, then why are you responding.

When you get to my actual point, let me know.

I dont care about your actual point.

I have an old FM converter, for hooking up to an AM car radio to receive
AM/FM.Many years ago, I used to use it too.

In most cases, HD does not even increase the power bill of a
transmitter plant by 10%... often much less. And the licence fee,
which is market based, is minimal. Many stations have leased HD3
channels for specialized programming, and are making money on that.

Only one significant group is approaching bankruptcy, and it is
unlikely that their FM HDs will be turned off.

"In these trying times, it should be pointed out that in most cases
adding IBOC dramatically increases electric bills. I did three build-
outs in Indianapolis and it almost doubled the power bills for the
transmitter sites. Multiply this across the board and it is untold
thousands of dollars a day going up in heat. If IBOC carriers were
turned off, a lot of jobs could be saved with that money."

I don't know what the link might be....to their balance sheet?

But CBS is doing it in plenty of places. (Do you think they are giving it
away for free?)

And someone is doing Russian something or other on one of the NYC HD's.
