Default (OT) Electric wall outlets.

I need to go to the Lowe's store today for a few things, including a few
new electric wall outlets to replace some old worn out ones. They sell
them from less than one dollar each, up to about five or six dollars
each. Why is there so much difference in the prices? They all look the
same to me, and I am not talking about the kind with GFI either.I don't
want GFI wall outlets, they SUCK!

I have a Plug Grip, www.pluggrip.com I bought at Lowe's a few
months ago.I am just iching to try it out.Of course I will flip the
circuit breakers before I start messin with those wall outlets.
cuhulin, get a Grip on that plug

The ones that sell for a buck are the kind that wear out and need
frequent replacing. I use the Copper Aluminum grade duplex outlets.

We use the medium expensive ones for power distros; and we use "hospital
grade" orange ones for anal retentive clients with lots of cash.

I am waiting on my snail mail, that snail mail woman always has a
Bluetooth cell phone thingy on her ear, always yakkin and talkin while
delivering the snail mail.My thumbs hurt from using my cig lighters. When
I go to the Lowe's store today, I am going to also buy a riding lawn
mower battery and I will make a wood box with a handle and have a little
shelf for an old 12 volt auto cig lighter I have here.I will set it on
the floor by my end of doggy's couch.I will need to charge up the
battery once or twice each week, I reckon.

I will buy the better quality wall outlets at Lowe's today.

Wall outlets come in 3 grades.
Residential... The lowest quality. These are not really suitable for
large appliances, or outlets that will be plugged/unplugged
frequently.
Spec-A significantly higher quality (more copper, bigger pieces,
better contacts to hold the plug tighter and make better contact)
Hospital Grade (essential Spec grade with the extra cost being the
product liability insurance).

Then of course there is the matter of Mdade in USA versus Made in
China
