Are you picking up much about the ship sinking?

I'm trying north& south Korean Radio and It's not very clear and they are
not saying much. Getting more from BBC & CRI.

Just have the Yonhap press releases. Govt. says it wasn't N. Korea, but
some oopsie with the ship running aground on rocks in the area of the
island. Prolly some noob at the helm. I'm sure the captain is gonna catch
some hell over it.

I don't know for sure, but it looks like a cover story to me.

Is that what really happened or just a cover story for public consumption

avoid admitting SC is desperately trying to avoid an escalating conflict.

This is a lot more up to date. Apparently, you don't know a lot about S.
Korea. They really don't care what anyone thinks, when it comes to the
North. They speak their minds. The way it sounds right now, the N. had
nothing to do with it, and they're trying to gingerly step around a major
faux-pas. If it was an attack by the DPRK, they would be johnny-on-the-spot
to say so, especially to placate the families of the missing.

I wasn't there, I'm just going by what I read in early reports
that there was a shot fired at some mystery vessel to the north.
Was that incorrect?

I'm only pointing out what seem inconsistencies.

Not really my country. I just live and work here (for the US military). The
subterrain around that island is very rocky. The entire Yellow Sea is very
very shallow. The difference between high and low tides at Incheon is around
2-4 Km of sand, mud and the remains of various shellfish, soju bottles, beer
cans, ad inf. I have no problem believing they could bottom out or high
center themselves at the very least. I can see a situation where they
grounded the screw and some boy genius tried to free the ship by pushing the
engines so far they blew up.

As far as the random shot, they SAID that they saw something on the radar
and took a shot at it. The captain later said it turned out to be a flock of
southbound birds.

Can't say how accurate the accounts are... I'm JAFO.

My oldest sisters son was in the U.S.Air Force.Back in the 1970s he went
to South Korea and he married a South Korean gal.They have a daughter
about 20 something to about thirty years old.They live in Oklahoma
now.Their daughter is very, very quiet, sort of aloof and stand
offish.She is very pretty.I don't know if she inherited that from her
moms side of the family, or whatever.

I think there is at least one Korean restaurant in the Jackson area and
no doubt some Koreans who live in the Jackson area.I don't know/haven't
met any of them though.

rense.com, the Ship haden't been found yet, according to the article.
