I don't understand the thinking behind it but I'm sure many don't understand collecting radios or stamps either. A bible makes a great survival supply of thin paper to use as tinder in fire starting. I use to slip one in the backpack when I went hiking for just such application. You dislike the Bible so much that you are willing too make up a ludicrous lie in hopes that someone is dumb enough to believe you? Surely you jest. Just on the outside chance....oh never mind....I know you're lying...lol. The pages of a Bible are wayyyy too thin and would be the last type of firestarter to use. If someone if going to take up all that room in their pack to place a Bible (of all things) for tinder...lol...they would have to be borderline mentally challenged IMO. Why carry all that weight and take up pack space when you could carry a little tin packed with cotton balls coated in petroleum jelly? You I guess? ;-P |
