There are a lot of right wingers (and some of the left wingers too)
throw the word treason around all the time, and it almost never really
applies to what they are claiming someone did. But you know, reality
doesn't stop extremists very often anyway. What exactly do they think
the government should do to prevent people from coming into the country?
It's an awfully long border. A wall wouldn't work, they would just
tunnel underneath it, and it would cost an awful lot of money to build
and maintain, and guard. I suppose it would cut down on the number of
them coming in though, at least for a while. But the only rational thing
to do is to make hiring them painful enough that people just won't do it
anymore. I won't hold my breath waiting for that to happen.

It's kind of funny, I ran into two people I haven't seen for a while at
the store yesterday, one was born in the same hospital I was, about 2
years after me, the other guy was born in Mexico. Which one can barely
speak English? Well, the one born here, of course. The other guy doesn't
even have an accent, and he came here at age 11. He told me he's going
to take his citizenship test soon, he's sick of being hassled by the INS
constantly. Every new guy the INS gets seems to pay too much attention
to him. He's married (to a US born wife) and has lived here almost 30
years now, so why do they waste time with him? BTW, his parents came
here illegally when he was a little kid, and after they finally got
their green cards, he came up from Mexico, all nice and legal. The guy
born here rarely works, unlike the guy born in Mexico, who has worked
his way up from burger flipper to computer tech.

I haven't ever been inside of a foxhole before.In boot camp, were were
issued a little folding shovel/Entrenching Tool.I never had to actually
use it though.In fact, I do have a little folding shovel/Entrenching
Tool.I bought it a bunch of years ago at one of the Goodwill stores
around here.I saw it a few days ago when I was getting out a few pieces
of asbestos siding out from behind my washing machine.
