Prissy? Sorry Bruce, I just answered you in the way you have always
answered me and others in this group till things got out of hand in
here for a while. I was just wondering what happened, it kind of
caught me off guard because I never heard you and Ace speak that way
towards each other.

You had told me back channel when Krypsie started his crap that to
basicaly "rise above it all" so too speak and "you have the power"

Backchannel? That was front and centre Gregg! We all saw it! It's just
that you were far too mired in trolling with your mates to be able to
heed it!

etc. etc. etc. Just shocked that all the sudden the verbage from you
towards Steve and even RHF. I didn't mean to get you upset or anything

Everyone has limits to their tolerance. You, by siding with known
trolls, exceeded mine! At least Bruce had the nous, and the guts, to
take DXAce on himself without having to call upon reinforcements!

Krypsis, it wasn't so much courage as a temporary mountain of
frustration in my own life. Steve didn't deserve the disrespect;
whatever our differences, and regardless of how people express
themselves on these groups, there is a strength in Steve's character
that cannot be ignored.

Ultimately it's every man (or woman) for him/herself on these groups,
and we all owe it to ourselves to make the best showing of it.

We all have frustrations. Up until I retired 2 years back, I had
mountains of them. Now that I'm just a consultant, I let others deal
with the frustration. All I do now is advise on what options they have
and the ramifications. The decisions are no longer mine, the
responsibilities are no longer mine! Bliss!

Steve didn't deserve the disrespect;
whatever our differences, and regardless of how people express
themselves on these groups, there is a strength in Steve's character
that cannot be ignored.

I haven't followed Steve's postings all that much so will take you at
your word! (assuming that Steve = DXAce) ;-)

Isn't that the truth! I must say though that the women on
rec.food.cooking soon put the trolls in their place. Interesting to
watch! I think also that the sheer weight of on-topic posts in that
group helped their cause greatly. I see there has been an increase in
the number of posts here though, sadly, a good deal of them seem to be
quite off-topic.

Still, the (DTS) trollfest seems to have petered out for the most part
and that can't be a bad thing.

A DC-3? As in C-47? As in 1935?

Yes, Steve = dx 'ace' but...

....just so you realize that the "title" is self-assigned.

And while we are on the subject, you might want to re-read m II's post
quoting all of the "Steve-isms". Quite interesting...and enough to make
a sailor blush. :-)
