The radio has a downward firing bass port that is designed for a table
top.

I have 2 other EeePCs running Puppy Linux. I have to have a Windows

Intel's going to have to be more platform agnostic with their support
lest they get sued.

I am running Mint9 KDE on a laptop and PCLinuxOS on desktops, and they
support the iPod. Did you go through your package manager to find a program
that will control the iPod? I think that Floola does, maybe some others

I can use 3rd party media programs to look at the files, but I bought it
to use apps (it's a ****ty music player IMHO).

You have to suspend it in mid air (like on a $15 OSH stool). If there
are no boundaries nearby it sounds OK. They probably designed it with a
computer, or in an anechoic environment. Henry Kloss would use his ears.

Ahh, old Kloss, weird buggar. Heard he, also, often suspended radios on
little wires off his gonads when testing and adjusting them ... great
minds are just hard to understand, I guess. ROFLOL

... just can't seem to remember where I heard that rumor from ...

You know nothing. Henry helped invent the bookshelf speaker. He's the
one who used dolby noise reduction to make Philips cassettes a
respectable hifi medium. He invented home theater.

AR, KLH, Advent, Kloss, Cambridge Soundworks, Tivoli Audio

Show some respect, willya! I might show you my yellow "Bull****" button
someday.

Hmmm, weren't the bookshelf speakers hard to fit in his pants? LOL
